Coins of Canada Haxby Willey 1992 - Used - Same as Picture but the actual book is black in color and is 1992 Eleventh Edition. Coins of Canada by J.A. Haxby and R.C. Willey is “complete” in a single book reference on bullion, and collector coins; Pre-Confederation coinage; and Dominion of Canada notes (1867-1935); and, Bank of Canada paper money (1935 to current).
Editor Serge Pelletier says the 2017 version introduces “some differences.”“After more than three decades, we thought it was time to update the excellent work of James Haxby and Robert Willey, given the numerous advancements in coining technology that have taken place since the publication of the first edition,” writes Pelletier. “The considerable increase in the number of different collector coins being issued by the Royal Canadian Mint has also also required a streamlining of the catalogue format. We plan to update the pre-confederation and paper money sections as well. The full transformation will take place over the next few years.”
